FRAGILE TENSION (Depeche Mode) - 2011 - cover version by Crash Course CH

When I asked my teacher to help me recording this cover version of Depeche Mode's FRAGILE TENSION (2009), I wanted to avoid any electronic overkill. The main part is played with a very distorted bass (Epiphone LP Special Bass PB), supported by a second bass (the same instrument) with very little distortion and an e-guitar which plays only a secondary role. My teacher added some very simple but (in my opinion) very nice keyboard lines. Unfortunately we did not do any video at the time.

Water skiing on the river Lielupe (Latvia), August 2010

In wintertime I go cross-country skiing, and in summertime I do this :) The background music is "Fragile Tension", which is probably my favourite track from "Sounds Of The Universe". I also like this particular remix, which is done by Peter Bjorn And John and I think it just goes well with my video, both musically and lyrically :) Enjoy!
