Waterloo Road theme - A rip off of Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus?

Waterloo Road theme - I believe this to be a direct rip off! I only noticed because I've been playing San Andreas alot, and watching alot of Waterloo Road, and at the end of the theme it sounded kinda familiar + i added "Reach out and touch faith" in my head and it clicked. I could add the guitar lines from Waterloo Road to the song + them fit exactly - but I think this is blatent enough.
